am I paying a monthly fee?
Firstly, we are hosting your site, and there is a cost that we
must pay to retain your files on the server. Your monthly fee
helps cover this cost. Also, keep in mind that this is not your
typical "build-it-yourself" template package. You are
choosing a pre-designed page, then sending us the text and images.
After that, we do all the site set up, formatting the text, optimizing
the images, inserting the scripts, sending your proofs, making
changes, supplying the domain address, and hosting the site. At
completion, you will have a website that has been personalized
for you or your business by professional, industry-standard designers.
To do all this is much more costly then what you are paying for.
It is our hopes that you like, and are satisfied with our service,
therefore continue to be our customer, whereas though the monthly
payments finally comes our reimbursement. This is also why we
strive to satisfy all our clients. Basically, we're having to
work hard to get paid.

Why
do you use Paypal® for your check-out process?
We use Paypal® because it is universal, easy, and secure.
If you are new to Paypal, signing up for a PayPal account is now
optional. This means when you reach the payment area, you can
complete your payment first, and then decide whether to save your

do I cancel my membership with Adamongus?
As much as we hate to see you leave, cancelling Adamongus is painless.

select "Cancel Membership/Website" in the pull-down
menu. Then complete the form which requests your name, username,
and email. In leaving, as well as anytime, we would appreciate
your feedback why you are leaving, and any suggestions you have

are Templates? (In website terms)
In short, templates are pre-designed shells of a website that
provide a general structure and visual aspect of the website.
They are used as a starting point in the overall look of the design.
Much of creating a website is the creative design as a whole.
Using a template provides both client and designer a running start
in the development of the site. From there, the designer, working
with the client, must make the template work with the clients

What
is the difference between a Sub Domain, and a Sub Directory?
Simply put, a Sub-Domain is the
name seen in front of a domain name with a period separating the
two. Example: www.yourname.adamongus.com, where 'yourname' is
the Sub Domain. This requires setting up the files differently
then a Sub Directory and shares the common hierarchy with the
actual domain name. There
is an extra charge for Sub-Domains.
A Sub-Directory is the name after the domain name, and
is often kept in a separate folder, or shares the same hierarchy
as the domain name like at Adamongus. Example: www.adamongus.com/yourname.
In this case, 'yourname' is a Sub Directory.

your site, setup your domain name, and build your website. All
you need to do is let us know what you want on the site in the
form of text, images, and any extras. As the host, your domain
name will be partnered with one of our family of domain names,
Adamongus.com, Inquiring.biz, or Sellsheet.info. You may choose

At this time, Adamongus is set up to host the sites that we develop.
We can develop a site using your host of choice, as well as your
own domain name, however the cost of doing so will be different

So...just
what does "ADAMONGUS" mean?
Funny you should ask. There are different ways you can look at
this word. For one, it can say that there is an 'ad among us'.
The ad, or advertisement is quite often the basis of why you are
online, to advertise your products or services. Then there is
the lesser-known explanation, that the owner of the company, Eric
Akeson, used the initials of his design business, Akeson Design
as the 'AD'. But the answer we like the best is that we just like
the sound of the name, and let your imagination create it's own
definition of the word. (Akeson Design has been in the professional
design business since 1990, producing successful graphic design
for print media, and producing creative, custom websites since
1997.)
